The Babylon Bee had its Twitter account blocked because they named Rachel Levine, the transgender Assistant Secretary for Health, “Man of the Year.” Of course, the Babylon Bee is a satirical publication, and they meant it for humor. Unfortunately, Twitter didn’t think so. They claimed the account violated the rules against “hateful conduct.” Editor in Chief of the Babylon Bee Kyle Mann said, “A world where you can state a simple biological fact and face censorship,… no matter how satirical tongue-in-cheek your tone is, is a scary one indeed.” Mann and his online publication are being canceled. They face revenue loss and even their livelihoods— all for stating a simple biological truth. And according to Mann, this should “worry everyone about the health of our society.”
