Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron joined a coalition with other states to prevent the Biden Administration from allowing biological males to compete on women’s sports teams. In 2022 the Kentucky General Assembly passed the Save Women’s Sports Act which kept biological males off of girl’s sports teams. Unfortunately, President Biden is trying to override this common sense law passed by many states. In response, Attorney General Daniel Cameron filed a brief with the US Sixth Circuit Court to stop this encroachment. Cameron said, “Women athletes in Kentucky deserve the opportunity to compete on a level playing field.” Cameron contends that his “brief represents our latest effort to preserve the integrity of women’s sports and ensure schools in the Commonwealth are not forced to follow unlawful federal guidance that conflicts with Kentucky law.”
