Today is primary election day in Kentucky. Voters will go to the polls to vote for candidates running for all kinds of offices on the ballot, ranging from city and county government to the state legislature and all the way up to the open U.S. Senate seat, which is being vacated by Kentucky’s longest-serving senator, Mitch McConnell. Making things interesting are Pres. Donald Trump’s endorsements in three federal races. In either case, turnout will likely be below 50%, as it was only 44% in the last midterm. Much is at stake. The right to vote was bought at a high price. So please, don’t take it for granted, and make sure you vote today. The polls are open from 6 AM to 6 PM.
