Amendment #2 proposes to stop activist judges from inventing a right to abortion. So far, $3 million has been raised to defeat the measure and most of the money is coming from out of state. In fact, $2,514,000 or 83 percent comes from out of state interests. A total of $964,000 is from Planned Parenthood and $400,000 is from the American Civil Liberties Union. The two groups raised 45 percent of the total budget to defeat the Amendment. Of course, Planned Parenthood made at least $191 million from abortion nationwide last year. And the ACLU makes an industry out of suing states over their right to life loss. Despite out-of-state efforts to defeat the Yes for Life Amendment, they cannot vote. It’ll be up to Kentuckians to decide their own right to life policies.
