Abortion is pushed as a right. It’s also just another issue until it affects somebody who you know. In a recent interview with his daughters, Sylvester Stallone revealed that he was nearly aborted. His mother tried multiple times to end the pregnancy. He said that he thought his mother’s “ability to ever show love was short-circuited.” If Stallone was never born, the world would have missed out on his gifts and talents in storytelling and moviemaking. And Stallone—as well as his children—would not have had a life to live. He puts a face on the reality that abortion always takes a life. Which makes me wonder if your view on abortion would change if it would have eliminated one of your favorite actors.
