There’s a lot of talk about how failed and flawed our political leadership class is today. But have you considered that you are likely already a leader? If you’re a parent, a teacher, an employee in a business, you are leading whether or not you realize it. Other’s are watching and taking their cues from you. But have you considered how you’re leading? The greatest leader in all of history, Jesus Christ, said that whoever will be first must be last, and he who is greatest in his kingdom, must be servant of all. John Stott said, The authority by which the Christian leader leads is not power but love, not force, but example, not coercion, but reason persuasion. Leaders have power, but power is safe, only in the hands of those who humble themselves to serve.”
