The U.S. Supreme Court upheld access to the abortion pill.  But they ruled on process, not on the merits of the arguments brought by pro-life doctors. The court said they didn’t have standing. The doctors challenged the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of Mifepristone to be used by women who are 10 weeks pregnant. This is later than is medically recommended. The FDA also allows the drug to be sent through the mail, without in-person medical supervision. Both FDA policies compromise women’s health and safety. But we haven’t heard the end of this. The ruling gave a partial roadmap to pro-lifers as to how they can go about restricting access to the pill.
