2024 is coming to a close. If you’re a newsie like me, it seems the world is unraveling toward chaos— with wars, natural disasters, and corruption. This is because the world as we experience it is not the way its supposed to be. We were created for health, peace, and good relationships. But the fall wrecked this. And in a sense, just a few days ago we celebrated a downpayment on the world would be made right again with the birth of Christ. Jesus came to fix the things that are broken in this world and one day will make a new heavens and new earth and dwell with mankind. Christ bids each of us to give him our anxiety and confess our sins and invites us into relationship with him. Keep this great news in mind as we start the new year.
