SpaceX launched their rocket called Starship, and then guided it back to earth and caught it using mechanical arms. This will allow the rocket to be reused in the future. This is a breakthrough in space travel as Elon Musk and SpaceX plan to take astronauts to the moon later this decade and then eventually to the planet Mars. It’s interesting that major innovations in space travel aren’t being tried in other nations, nor is NASA leading the way of innovation at home. Instead, NASA is hiring Elon Musk’s private corporation to build rockets. This is because America’s free market economy allows and entrepreneurial spirit and innovation from leaders like Elon Musk allow them to pursue excellence and build amazing things, including reusable rockets that will someday make space travel possible.
