The pornographic website Pornhub will be leaving Kentucky on July 10. This is the result of a bill that the Kentucky state legislature passed earlier in the year requiring age verification for accessing pornographic websites. This is a win for the protection of Kentucky’s children. Graphic exploitation of women, abusive material, and even child pornography was just a click away on Pornhub. But not anymore. Pornhub decried the move as too intrusive by requiring users to provide a drivers license for age verification purposes. Instead of protecting kids from their vile and harmful content, they protested any safeguards, and they decided to leave the state. And Kentucky is better for it.
Hahaha. This is actually laughable. It demonstrates legislators knowledge of the Internet.
A 30 second free download allowed me to access the supposed sites with no age verification. On my standard browser I received the message we are pulling out of KY. On my updated browser, they had no idea I was in KY. Same phone, just a few mins later and a different browser.
I guess our kids won’t know about that. Shhhhhh, keep it secret
