Moral and social issues have been debated this election season and this give Christians an opportunity to speak to them. Some will avoid conversations about the issues, but people are still trying to find answers to the big questions of the day. What is the just and right way to order ourselves as a society? And what leads to human flourishing? If you believe that the Bible speaks to all of life (2 Tim. 3:16-17), then that includes politics as well. Christians believe that people are created to glorify God in everything (1 Corinthians 10:31), and this extends to politics and elections. If you believe this, then commit yourself to speaking the truth with grace in order to glorify God and benefit your community as well.
