President Donald Trump recently announced that organizations that perform or refer for abortions will no longer receive federal family planning grants. This means that the nation's largest abortion business—Planned Parenthood will lose around $50 million/year in Title X family planning funds. But the abortion giant isn't going out of business any time soon. It received over half-billion dollars from the federal government and according to Forbes, it had $1.4 billion in revenue in 2016 making it one of the richest nonprofits in the nation. We're likely to hear howls of protests of all the good that Planned Parenthood does but this controversial group performed around 250,000 abortions last year. And if the cuts result in any decrease in abortions there will be a few more people around happy that those cuts were made.
