Two weeks ago, Kentucky State Police arrested the former superintendent of Owensboro Public Schools for sexually soliciting children. The superintendent, who’s now in jail, had been fired at the end of the last school year when an investigation revealed his behavior. It’s unthinkable that people we trust with educating our children would exploit them in heinous ways. But at the same time moral boundaries have been breached in our public schools by introducing young children to age-inappropriate gender ideology, sexual orientation instruction, and sexually explicit books in our libraries. So it should come as no surprise that when moral boundaries are breached, everyone is affected. In the end, erosion of moral expectations ends badly, like it is for Owensboro superintendent of public schools.
