Oldham is next to Jefferson County (Louisville), which is ranked ninth in Kentucky’s wealthiest counties. Of course, the freedom and ability to create wealth is a blessing. Working hard and the ability to enjoy the fruits of one’s labor is a gift. You don’t have to be in Oldham County to be blessed with resources, but if you’ve been blessed at all, thank God because he’s the ultimate source that we find not just our sustenance but our well-being in what we call a Commonwealth.
