The FBI is conducting a manhunt in western Kentucky for a man who threatened to kill President Trump. Shawn Christy, 27, of Pennsylvania, had a federal warrant issued for his arrest after he made a social media post promising to kill Trump. Christy is considered armed and dangerous. This comes when Trump's Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced she'll be speaking at the Lexington Lincoln Dinner later this month. Interestingly, Sanders is the first press secretary to need secret service protection. The Secret Service won't comment as to why they're protecting Sanders, but it can be inferred that her safety is in jeopardy. Despite the political divide it’s time for all of us, regardless of political affiliation, to denounce threats that make the public arena less safe.
