Today is the last day to request an absentee ballot. This isn’t to be confused with voting by mail as was available during the Covid shutdown, but rather absentee balloting has been in place for many years. It’s for people who have health and medical issues, will be traveling or have a conflict with work and cannot make it to the polls. If, for some reason, you cannot vote on November 7 or during early voting November 2-4, then you can request an absentee ballot by noon today. You can request an absentee ballot through the Secretary of State’s website sos.ky.gov. The election is just two weeks away. Please make sure you request a ballot if you cannot make it to the polls. If you can get out to vote, then mark your calendar for November 2-4 and get out and vote your values!
