Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman is suing a company called Roblox—a popular gaming platform for kids. The platform has few safeguards to protect Kentucky children from child predators. Coleman said “Our children are not safe on Roblox. Predators and criminals aren’t just lurking in the platform’s shadows; they’ve been allowed to commit their crimes out in the open.” For years, Roblox has ignored this crisis so it could continue turning a profit. Something called “assassination simulators” were introduced on Roblox shortly after the Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Kindergarten age children are getting online, without parental knowledge and AG Coleman wants to put a stop to this. Roblox has more than 380 million monthly users.
