President Donald Trump posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor to Charlie Kirk last week. The ceremony honored Kirk’s life and his commitment to American ideals. Kirk’s leadership inspired countless young Americans. Honoring Kirk in this way recognizes the impact one individual can have on a generation and serves as a reminder of the importance of celebrating lives marked by conviction, service, and dedication to principle. Two Kentucky legislators are filing a bill to set aside October 14 as Charlie Kirk Day. State Rep, TJ Roberts said “We want this day to serve not only as a commemoration of his life, but as a renewed commitment to uphold respectful dialogue, courage in the face of adversity, and the conviction that faith and truth endure.”
