Harvard University recently hosted its 13th annual “Sex Week,” featuring events that promote sexual experimentation and deviance under the guise of education. Organizers describe it as an effort to foster “healthy discussion,” but the programming reflects a deeper confusion about the purpose of higher learning and even more confusion about healthy human sexuality. When elite institutions lend their platforms to such displays, they not only normalize moral disorder but erode the very concept of human dignity. Education should elevate, not indulge, the basest instincts. Harvard was originally founded by Puritans to train pastors. Perhaps Harvard’s leaders will see the foolishness of sex week and the bad ideas it pushes and once again embrace truth and virtue that was its original mission.
