Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has joined 16 colleagues in a fight against a proposed federal rule which requires foster homes for LGBTQ children to affirm their new identities. Under the proposal, foster parents must affirm the child’s sexual orientation, use their preferred pronouns, and allow them to dress as they please. Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skermetti said that the rule “hampers the ability of the states to protect kids by forcing children’s services agencies to police pronoun usage with the same urgency they address physical abuse.” Of course, every child deserves a safe and loving home, but the Biden Administration has prioritized radical gender ideology over good parenting. And if the new proposal is implemented this will prevent many loving Christian families from serving as foster parents.
