The beginning of a New Year is a great time to take inventory on the last year and ask yourself how you can make the upcoming year even better, which doesn’t seem too hard to do considering 2024 was dominated by much bad news—wars, campus unrest, ugly anti-semitism, and economic hardship. But let’s look ahead to how 2025 might be better. Ralph Waldo Emerson shared some New Year’s wisdom when he said, “Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man.” May I encourage you to be committed to love more. Complain less. Be a blessing to others and thankful to God and honor Him in this new year. Happy New Year!
