Trump's Exec Order January 31, 2017 by Staff

There's much confusion about Pres. Trump's Exec Order halting immigrants from nations associated known as refuge for terrorists.  Here's what the order does; It temporarily bans citizens from these nations to enter the U. S.  It suspends the refugee program for four months and caps the number of refugees this year at 50,000. It also prioritizes refugee status for persecuted religious minorities. This is being done not to target certain people but to protect our national security. Many Christian's in this nation have been conflicted over the order and cite biblical passages like Deut. 10:19 "Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt". America has alway's been a refuge for the persecuted, but if we remain vulnerable to terrorists, we may someday find ourselves to no longer be in a position to offer refuge.
