LGBT Summer Reading July 2, 2019 by Staff

School is out and summer reading is in. And parents, what better place to take your kids for some new books than the public library? While there are a lot of great resources there, you might want to walk closely with your grade schooler through the children's book section in your local library, especially in our bigger cities. That's because a lot of books are targeting pre-k grade school kids with controversial books that promote LGBT.  One book is called Transphobia: Deal With It, by J. Wallace Skelton. It's a large-picture book featuring a trans girl defending their right to participate on an opposite-sex sports team. The book Princess Princess Ever After, by Katie O’Neill, features a lesbian princess who rescues a helpless girl. Kids are being targeted with pro-LGBT messages and parents must be equally vigilant as to the messages their kids receive.
