Conscience is non-negotiable November 17, 2017 by Staff

What do you do when you're put in a position where you're forced to violate your conscience? This question isn't theoretical anymore. More and more people who try to live and work according to their conscience are put in difficult positions. This was the case with a family court judge in Glasgow and a print-shop owner in Lexington. Conscience rights are under attack because of the changing moral and cultural landscape. So, think about what are your non-negotiables. What lines are you not willing to cross? Then be prepared for the consequences. The good news is that the Kentucky Constitution protects conscience rights. But citizens of the Commonwealth must be willing to assert this protection and that means each of us will likely be forced to make tough decisions in the future.
