Back to School August 7, 2017 by Staff

Many of Kentucky's kids are heading back to school this week. My children aren't looking forward to it but I remind them why school is important. It's because they're given minds to cultivate. And I want them to develop their gifts and talents so they can successfully live in this world.   But school is more than that.  It's where we impart the true, the good and the beautiful. It's where values are passed down. Abraham Lincoln once said that “the philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.” We should be concerned about what is taught in our schools because it will eventually impact all of us. Pray for your school administrators and their teachers because, so much is riding on their success.
